The 3-D Scans reveal the mess that was Otzi’s mouth, especially around his back teeth. Tissue from his hip bone revealed the bacterial pathogen that causes Lyme disease. He also had brown eyes, blood type O, lactose intolerance, and it turns out he had Lyme disease, making him the world’s first documented case. They found that when he died at 46 years old, Ötzi was predisposed to cardiovascular disease. He had dark, medium-long hair, probably had a beard, had brown eyes and, at the age of 45, had already reached a good age for the period.
